A Signs West Super Wide 20′ x 20′ Flex Face Goes Up In Primm

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Signs West turnkeys a 20 foot by 20 foot double sided reverse lit flex face for Primm Valley Casino Resorts. Primm Valley supplied the design to our FTP uplink and we did the rest. Signs West first task was to retro fitted this 80’ pylon face with new ballast and lamps. Signs West then printed these super wide large format rag ( flex ) faces a Signs West VuTek 5330 roll printer and prepped them for install. The irony is that you really never see rain in Las Vegas and the surrounding basin. Signs West dispatched a 85’ boom up to Primm in early February and we almost sunk it. It rained on and off for almost 2 weeks which kept us guessing when lake Primm would be accessible. Signs West finally decided the only way to get these faces up and not sink a multi ton rig into the soil was to use this 125’ lift. A special shout out to the dynamic duo of Paul and Jeff who always find a way to handle their particular task. “ These faces are wrinkle free at 20’ x 20’ and taunt, I’d do a commercial and bounce a quarter off them but as you can see these faces are not flat “. Said Paul Anderson, a Signs West Install Crew Cheif. ( Primm Valley Casino Resort Contract ).
