Paul Mitchell drop ship arrives on schedule from Arrow Signs to Signs West, Inc. docks.

Monday, August 24th, 2009

This photo of the Paul Mitchell Sign Cabinet delivery is typical of the everyday workings of Signs West, Inc. drop ship division. ” Trucks roll in, trucks roll out, it’s my job to coordinate the loads with the appropriate procurement manager who manages the account ” said Scott Gludenschuh of Signs West ” Now that I’m aware the product is in the house I simply enter it into our data base and an alert fires directly to our install manager for scheduled install “. Some times a drop ship arrives with a shipping ding or a few scratches. When this occurs Signs West, Inc. simply makes the appropriate fix right here in house. ” Sometimes I feel like a air traffic controller ” said Scott ” getting the product checked in is what I enjoy doing ”. Signs West, Inc adds finishing touch on Applebee’s re-brands with new pylon sign cabinets drop ship installs.

Monday, August 24th, 2009

Once the Restaurant store front signs were addressed and the drop ship re-brand of the new Applebee’s signage was complete on all stores, Signs West, Inc. then proceeded to finalize the re-branded stores with new pylon sign cabinets that were also drop shipped in. The nice thing about a well organized group is the ability to communicate effectively these days via new technology. Apple Bee’s was able to make use of old sign structural by re-engineering existing structural to accommodate new illuminated pylon sign cabinets. This picture shows a typical re-brand utilizing existing structure with new custom fabricated sign cabinets. Unlike Signs West, Inc’s drop ship involvement with Holiday Inn pylon sign re-brands, no holes needed to be dug and no new supports needed to be set for Apple Bee’s. This cost effective approach was just part of the overall solution.

First of all they are very cost effect, turn heads and project a theme, use or call to action.  Many passerbys take a double look at this Juhl window in downtown Las Vegas. It appears a young lady is sun bathing in a store front. The entire scene is a high definition Signs West Inc print on window adhesive for long term use. ” We love it, the more real we make it look the more double takes we get ” said Jeremy ‘ Ace ‘ Law ” when you combine the right size images with high end printers the results speak for themselves “. Jeremy ‘ Ace ‘ Law is a Signs West, Inc print room operator. Corporate America Cuts Cost With The Use Of Low Voltage LED Lighting Alternatives.

Monday, August 10th, 2009

More and more Corporate brand Store Front ID Signs are converting to or being manufactured with low voltage LED lighting alternatives. The above shot depicts a typical low voltage alternative in use. The industry term is string lighting. These simple strings will power up the brand at night the same way old school neon use to, the difference is these LED lights will last a good 10 years and draw 40% less power. Neon still comes into play for those looking for the WOW factor. Exposed or, as we call, open face neon does attract the eye which is an advantage, but as we are seeing, the use of string and alternative sign lighting is becoming the norm in Corporate America.

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

Signs West, Inc. crews work on a consistent basis removing and hanging Giant Large Format Printed Banners on parking structures, buildings and towers throughout Las Vegas and Primm. This large banner was installed late Friday night by Jeff Juleen and long time Signs West crazy Paul Anderson. ” Working Friday nights doesn’t bother me, I’m use to, we actually get cat calls, no, from the gals as they head in and out of the casino’s and clubs, and they say women love a man in uniform ? how about a man with a big boom ” laughed Paul. Paul Anderson is a veteran installer at Signs West. These giant outdoor banners are installed using the lace up method. It allows for a perfect stretch and alignment.
